Despite the rainy cool weather the annual New Years Day run at Fairfield railroad was held. We had a nice turn-out of people that stopped by. We even had 2 guest locomotives (Lowell Dietz and Peter Craymer). Running was sporadic as some chose to run only when it wasn’t raining. Others ran when they wanted to regardless of the rain. A fun time was had by all (even those riding with umbrellas!).
