This was a special Midsouth meet for many of us as we had visitors from Switzerland…Heinz and Ingrid Stutz. Heinz and Ingrid made contact with Wayne several years ago when they were visiting the U.S.. We have all become good friends over the years for when they were visiting again this year, Midsouth was on the list of places to go and run trains. This was also the debut of Wayne’s rebuilt American steamer. After 25+ years of running, the American needed a little work to tighten up the valve gear and refurbish the paint, etc. As you can see from the pictures below, the weather was great so we got a lot of running in. Everyone had a great time.
