In late July 2011 Marjean and I, along with some Wayne and Barb Lass, made the trip to West Virginia to Cass Scenic Railway. The railroad is home to a number of Shay locomotives. My #213 loco is modeled after their #2 and I am working on bulding a model of #6. Cass's #5 loco is 106 years old this year and has the distinction of having never left the Cass proterty in its life. It is a really nice place to visit. I am ready go back again just to listen to the locomotives!
